The ever-more-fleeting nature of our physical world has been propelled in the name of efficiency, access to ever more information, and improvement in the quality of life. The Great Unraveling. Anchored in the Northstar comic book shop and the Steel Rose dive bar, the Rebels and Nerds series tells the stories of geeky guys and the kinky bad boys who love them. Focusing on MMM romances, these novels feature erotic exploration and lots of heat on the way to some very special : R. Cayden.

The first manuscript ends up buried out back under the apple tree which is exactly where Unraveling Oliver belonged. I didn't return it because I listened all the way through--so keep my credit. But I won't download/buy another book by Liz Nugent which is exactly why it's a bad idea to publish weak material as an introduction to readers/listeners. With The Unraveling of America, Allen Matusow has produced what all historians-indeed, all authors-hope for and almost always fail to achieve: an enduring classic that can be read with equal profit a generation after its initial publication; a measured, sympathetic, and scholarly work in all the best senses of those words. —Eric Alterman, author of Why We're Liberals.

Unraveling was a book which had been receiving tons of great reviews in the last couple of weeks. Two of my friends Maja and Sam had also rated it 5 stars, so when I got the opportunity to read it, I /5(K).

Unraveling at the Name revolves, unravels even, around a remarkable set of skewed sonnet sequences about love requited and un- (and love's various alibis and substitutes), desire and sex and their often awkward relationship (what Factor calls the "urgency of appetite"), marriage, coming out and learning to come, lesbian motherhood, and loneliness.4/5(4).

“Unraveling at the Name contains poems of intelligence, intensity and irresistible language framed in delicious, deliberate poetic form.” —Lambda Book Report “The poems in Jenny Factor’s first book are special since at every level they illuminate cultural constructs using poetical constructs.” — A Journal of Contemporary Poetry.

In selecting Unravelling at the Name, Marilyn Hacker wrote: "Here is a new voice accomplished both in mind and music, a poet with perfect pitch in her mother tongue." This startling debut packages eros, motherhood, divorce, and a lesbian choice into a first book that knows that the narrative of transformation ultimately transcends the specific 4/5.

Liz Nugent's publishers must be paying a fortune to have her name come up CONSTANTLY on every search, on every book cover, ad nauseum. I finally relented, thinking all the fuss must be about something.

Well, firstly, this book was one of the shortest I've read lately - less than pages and a whopping £ And it was average. Just that/5(). Genre/Form: Poetry: Additional Physical Format: Online version: Factor, Jenny, Unraveling at the name.

Parents need to know that Unraveling is a sci-fi romance that's definitely meant for mature teens. It has some of the same scares as an X-Files episode (bodies found charred, and the main character coming back from the dead) and a disaster movie (giant earthquakes and an end-of-the-world scenario) mixed with lots of swearing ("f--k") and teen drinking.3/5.
